Choose the option to file an amended return.Go to the Overview of the H&R Block Online product.It’ll create an amendment to it by adding new data. Keep in mind that this won’t change your existing return. If you’re using our free program, you’ll need to upgrade to a different program, if you want to e-file your amended return. If you filed your 2022 return with our online program, you can prepare an amended return with us.
Once you’ve been notified by the IRS that they have received and accepted your original return for 2022, then you can amend your tax return online. With H&R Block, you can file an amended tax return online.
